Day 7

The forenoon session was about Differences between Gender and Sex, the gender roles and society and also about School subjects and multi faced society.

The afternoon session was about Black board scheme, District primary education, National higher secondary scheme and also about Methods of teaching and Characteristics of good teaching. The day ended with the Library period

Day 6

The forenoon session was about Educational demands of individuals, self learning and about the role of language in the curriculum.

The afternoon session was about Aims and objectives in the Pedagogy subject. The difference between Aim and Objectives was taught. The homework given was to write the aims and objectives for High school and Higher Secondary for Computer science

Day 5

The forenoon session was about Active learning, and Development Maturation and Growth of a child

The afternoon session was about Gender roles in society, differences between Gender and Sex and also Education for understanding the Social Diversity in India.

For the Pedagogy subject, the Scope of Computer science was taught and we were made to write a few qualities of a Qualified Computer Teacher. I have understood the Scope for computer science.

Day 4

Today's assembly was held in the playground.  The national flag was hoisted by Geetha ma'am and the national anthem was sung with the routine.

A general introduction to the subjects were given by the teachers during the forenoon session.

The afternoon session had pedagogy and Physical training periods. During pedagogy period the Definition and uses of Computer science in daily life was explained.

The role of Computer Science played in daily life is what I've learnt from today's topic

Day 3

The day started off with the assembly.

The forenoon session was informative as the former student's records were distributed to get an idea of how the blogs need to be filled in and submitted

The mid say session consisted of the Library and the Pedagogy subject. The old records were shown as a sample for us to follow

The afternoon session was for Pedagogy and Physical training

The silver lining of the cloud came as good news wherein the management had declared holiday for the 23rd of August.

Day 2 Aug 21

The day started off with the usual routine at the auditorium.

Upon arriving at the class we were guided to fill in the application forms as per the cerificates. Then the forenoon session was handled by Mr. Venkatesh and Mr. Ayyanarswamy for the subjects of contemporary India and Childhood and growing up. Both of the staffs gave a good introduction about the subject and also read out the syllabus.

The afternoon session was handled by Mrs Geetha a faculty for English and Mrs Marthaie a faculty for Commerce for the subjects of Learning and teaching, and Language across the curriculum. Both the teachers gave an overview of the subjects.

The next two sessions were handled by Mrs Ebzibha and Mrs Shini for the subjects of Gender school and society, and  Understanding disciplines. Both the teachers gave out a gist of the subject and it's uses.

Day 1: Aug 20

Today the first day of B.Ed, the day begins with the routine. The routine being a bible reading, prayer, praise song, GK, and a verse from the Thirukurral.

The morning session was an orientation programme conducted by Mr. Arasu Thomas, a well renowned headmaster of St. Theresa primary school, Gobichettipalayam. It was a lively session where in a lot of his life experiences were shared and tips on how to handle a challenging future.

The afternoon session was handled by Mrs. Shiny who elaborated us on the activities that need to be submitted for ICT. An assignment was also given to be completed.
